A MAGICAL mystery tour was given to Ealing North MP Steve Pound and Labour councillor Chris Summers at a new development of affordable housing in Northolt.

The £5.1m scheme of 43 homes, 33 of which are for affordable rent, consists of a mix of smaller apartments and houses of up to five bedrooms.

The project, in Eastcote Road, consists of two apartment blocks, Lascelles House and John Parry House, in honour of former Northolt High School head teacher John Parry.

Mr Pound said the project had brought about a great day for Ealing and added: “By far the biggest issue facing my constituents is the chronic lack of affordable housing or often any housing at all.”

He praised the high-quality work of developers Lovell and said that the lives of his constituents would change for the better.

Project manager Alex Impraim achieved a Pride in the Job Quality Award for his work on at Eastcote Road.
