SOME Ealing Council services will be operating at different opening hours over Christmas and the New Year.
The customer service centre at Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, will be closed to visitors from 5pm on Christmas Eve until 9am on Friday, January 2.
Residents will be able to access essential and emergency council services, such as social services, housing demand and grime busters, around the clock by calling 020 8825 5000, including on Christmas and New Year days.
Housing repairs will also be available throughout this time on 020 8825 5682.
Social care customer service staff will be available on the 020 8825 8000 number on Monday, December 29 from 9am to 5pm.
Council staff will take customer phone enquiries on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 30-31, from 9am to 5pm.

Libraries will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve and reopen on Friday, January 2, apart from Ealing Central Library which will be open on Saturday, December 27, 9am-5pm.
All car parks and pay and display bays will offer free parking on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Visitor parking in resident bays within controlled parking zones (CPZs) will also be free on those days. Normal parking restrictions will apply on all other days.
Apart from Christmas Day, motorists are reminded that bus lanes and parking restrictions on double yellow lines, loading bays and parking in other places where it is prohibited remain in operation.
The noise response team will be operating a service to deal with nuisance complaints.
However, there will be no service on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, while a limited service on Boxing Day will deal with house and car alarms only. Contact them on 020 8825 8111.
The council's re-use and recycling centres will be open as usual from 8am-4pm over the Christmas period, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Waste and recycling collection days will change over the holiday period. Collections will return to normal on Monday, January 12.

Teams will be on standby to grit roads across the borough if required.
