WASPS FC headquarters is soon to be home to EDH Physio when a permanent site opens in Ealing next month.

The highly-anticipated new site will open in the Acton rugby ground on August 1.

Based across a new 50sq-metre gym and two therapy suites at Twyford Avenue Sports Ground, EDH Physio offers expert physiotherapy combined with bespoke rehabilitation, sports massage, nutrition, Pilates and fitness programmes.

The crucial aim is to not only restore physical function, but to optimise the body’s performance.

Physiotherapist, personal trainer, sports-massage therapist and former Wasps Ladies first-team player Emma Dorban-Hall has been working from Ealing’s Eden Fitness gym since 2007, launching EDH Physio as a private practice there in 2013.

Her new site at Twyford Avenue Sports Ground is her first independent venue.

“The focus of my new practice is to help people properly progress back to performance – not just short-term pain relief,” said Dorban-Hall.

“I’ve gathered a range of practitioners who have the ability to take someone through the complete rehabilitation process.”

EDH Physio consists of a team of professionals who work together to tailor a unique fitness therapy programme for every client, whether they are recovering from an injury, aiming to progress their ability at a particular sport, or simply looking to decrease pain and increase their strength and fitness.

Dorban-Hall will clinically analyse and refer physiotherapy clients to her colleagues Sid Atkinson, a strength and conditioning coach with a rehabilitation focus, and Hannah Campbell, a sports psychologist, personal trainer and Pilates instructor, to present a uniquely holistic, comprehensive fitness service.

The gym will offer membership options for those receiving training sessions or physio from EDH Physio’s practitioners.

Dorban-Hall will continue her physio and personal training at Ealing’s Eden Fitness, as well as her work as a pitch-side sports physio for Wasps Ladies rugby club.

The new EDH Physio practice will be based above the club rooms at Twyford Avenue Sports Ground, near Ealing Common, Acton Town and Acton Central stations in West London.
