The University of West London (UWL) has seen the biggest rise of any university in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 jumping 37 places to No.84.

This makes them the 14th highest ranked university in London, in addition to having the best NSS scores for student satisfaction in the capital.

Vice Chancellor Professor Peter John said “We are absolutely delighted with these results but not surprised as we have been working towards this outcome for a number of years.

"This is the result of an ambitious strategic plan, well executed and underpinned by investment in infrastructure, academic staff and our curriculum, all of which is reflected positively in the quality of our teaching.

"We already have the best graduate employment in London and we are in the top quartile for salaries of graduates entering full-time employment in the UK.

"We intend to build on this success as we aim to become the best contemporary University in the UK - not just London - transforming the lives of all of our students through the delivery of high quality, career focussed education programmes.”

The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 complimented the university on their amazing improvement,  remarking that the University has gone up on every measure where there is new data this year, but has gained most from huge rises in student satisfaction following last year’s opening of the Future Campus.

The University offers students embedded work placements and work experience, in-study financial support and good employment prospects.

Undergraduates have access to an award-winning student portal, which combines academic study with social networking.
