BRENTFORD travel to Cardiff City today looking to continue their brilliant start to life in the Championship.

The Bees have established themselves as unlikely play-off contenders and currently sit just two points off the top after their 3-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers last time out.

Mark Warburton’s side are likely to be unchanged.

Winger Moses Odubajo will continue to deputise for injured Alan McCormack at right-back, while Andre Gray leads the line again after scoring his ninth goal of the season against Rovers.

Cardiff have amassed no fewer than 22 of their 30 league points at home this season.

Brentford are making good progress in contract negotiations with experienced Irishman Jonathan Douglas.

The 33-year-old midfielder has scored five times in 20 appearances this season, making him the club’s second highest scorer behind Andre Gray.

Brentford are confident they can fend off growing interest in on-loan Tottenham midfielder Alex Pritchard.

Spurs can recall Pritchard in January, with QPR, Burnley and West Brom all showing an interest.

The England Under-21 international has scored three goals in 21 games for the Bees and is due to remain at Griffin Park for the rest of the season.

Josh Bohui, a player from Brentford’s Academy, has been called up for an England training camp.

The teenager will join up with the national squad for an Under-16 gathering in January.

He is the second Academy player to get England recognition this season after Harry Francis was called to an England Under-15 training camp.

Ross McMahon was also called up for a Scotland Under-16 training camp.
