LIAM MOORE could be recalled to the starting line-up when Brentford take on Blackburn at Ewood Park tonight (Tuesday).

The Leicester loanee was surprisingly dropped from for Bees’ squad for Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat by Cardiff, with Harlee Dean replacing him.

The loss to nine-man Cardiff saw Mark Warburton’s side fall seven points behind the trio of Bournemouth, Watford and Middlesbrough, and a play-off berth is their only realistic way of getting promoted.

Both Cardiff goals were disappointing from a Brentford point of view and the Bees have now made as many errors (nine) leading directly to a goal as anyone else this season.

Despite the result, Warburton could go with the same XI that started against the Bluebirds. Alan Judge, Liam Moore and Chris Long are the most likely to earn recalls.

Midfielder Lewis Macleod (hamstring) and striker Scott Hogan (knee) are still out.

Blackburn, in 10th place, still have an outside chance of making a late charge for the play-offs and head into the game off the back of an impressive 3-1 win at Charlton.

Brentford won the reverse fixture 3-1 at Griffin Park in December - the first league meeting of the sides since March 1980, but Mark Warburton’s side have not won any of their last three away games, losing two. Their last win on the road was 1-0 at Leeds on February 7.

Brentford forward Stuart Dallas has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for games against Scotland and Finland.

The 23-year-old, who has one cap, has been in impressive form for the Bees this season, scoring six goals in 32 games.

Brentford are yet to receive any offers for Marcos Tebar, who has been made available for loan.

The Spaniard has not appeared since September and Warburton admits he is unsure whether Tebar will be leaving, given a lack of match fitness.
