BRENTFORD’S Chris Long, Alex Pritchard and Toumani Diagouraga face late fitness tests ahead of the must-win game at home to Bolton on Saturday.

Mark Warburton’s side lost 1-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, dropping three-points behind sixth-placed Ipswich.

The Bees know that only maximum points against Bolton will do if they want to secure a play-off position.

On-loan Spurs midfielder Prichard, a key player this season, missed the midweek defeat with a calf problem, while Everton loanee Long was also absent with a knock to the knee.

Diagouraga suffered a wrist injury during the loss at Hillsborough.

Warburton is likely to limit changes to his team, but Jon Toral could replace Stuart Dallas in midfield.

The Bees’ end to the season includes matches against Reading and Wigan, which Warburton will view as a great opportunity to register maximum points, but first they need to keep the pressure on their rivals.

Bolton head into the fixture with one of the worst away records in the division, but boss Neil Lennon could hand Mark Davies his first start in five months, while veteran strikers Eidur Gudjohnson and Emile Heskey are pushing for a recall.

Boss Mark Warburton has rejected suggestions he will recall Sam Saunders from his loan spell at Wycombe.

The winger has been missed in recent weeks, with the Bees looking bare of attacking options on the bench, but Warburton said he would only bring back Saunders if he was going straight into the squad.

Warburton has also cooled speculation linking him to Fulham.

The Brentford boss will leave Griffin Park at the end of the season – regardless of whether or not the Bees are promoted – after a disagreement with owner Matthew Benham over recruitment and has been linked with a number of jobs, including QPR and Fulham.
